If you do not have your own transport it is easiest, and cheapest, if you stay at Casara Mesa Backpackers (BBH), 3km from the centre of Te Kuiti. This is a quiet, relaxed hostel in a country setting with great views. Pick-up and drop-off to the Information Centre, trains and buses is Free.
