If you do not have your own transport it is easiest, and cheapest, if you stay at Casara Mesa Backpackers (BBH), 3km from the centre of Te Kuiti.  This is a quiet, relaxed hostel in a country setting with great views.  Pick-up and drop-off to the Information Centre, trains and buses is Free.  Don will drop you off and pick you up again from our place for about $20 per person, depending on the length of your stay.

If you are staying elsewhere we may be able to arrange something so give us a call.  Pick up and drop off from Waitomo Hostels costs $50 per person and from Rap Raft n Rock backpackers $40 per person.
